Mansfield began his career with Graybar in 1987 as a management trainee in St. Louis and quickly progressed through sales roles in both St. Louis and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before becoming a product manager just seven years into his career.
Mansfield has successfully served in management roles at the corporate, regional and branch levels. Prior to his current role, he served as Graybar’s vice president of marketing. As vice president, commercial and industrial, he led Graybar’s efforts to create a specialized sales organization focusing on industrial customers. He has experience in automation, industrial networking, intelligent building design and energy management.
Passionate about the change that digital can bring to the brand <-> user relationship and growing brands in the digital age.
Diverse Background. Spent my career working across disciplines (roles in engineering, finance, strategy, and general management), across continents (managed business in Latin America and Asia Pacific, Lived in Germany), and across enterprises (large and small).
As a principal of MDM since 1992, he has written extensively on industrial distribution channel strategies, trends and disruptive models. Tom was an executive editor and chapter author of the Distributor’s Guide to Analytics, published by MDM in 2015, and a co-author of Stand Out from the Competition! Four Pathways to Differentiate Your Wholesale Distribution Company, published by the National Association of Wholesaler Distributors.
As VP of the eBusiness Practice at C2, Tom leverages 20+ years of business experience across Tech Product & Services Companies, Digital Marketing and Technology Consulting to drive successful outcomes for customers. Tom’s responsibilities include business development & delivery and practice management with P&L responsibility. Tom brings a unique blend of business strategy, management and technical competency to all consulting engagements. Tom’s background includes leadership roles at Razorfish Consulting, Crown Partners Consulting, Oxiem Interactive, Jadu CMS, RR Donnelley, Comdisco and KPMG LLP. He was also the Founder & President of Innogage, LLC a digital marketing technology company.
Tom holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University in Honors Accounting & Finance and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Marketing & Organizational Research
Paul brings over 30 years’ experience in business management, advisory, technology, service and support operations, and software development, with deep technical expertise in structured content, product information management, search, analytics, and enterprise content / knowledge management.
Prior to joining Adobe Systems, Jill held leadership positions at HP, Agilent and IBM. She has expertise in market research & sizing, customer insights & predictive model development and business performance management strategies for consumer & commercial markets. During her tenure at HP, Jill directed efforts to integrate & extract intelligence from large and diverse data stores to deliver HP’s first comprehensive data repositories that supported the development of addressable market & consumer predictive models.
